Conroy carried her strong recent form into the final weekend of the state championships, held at 13th Beach over the weekend of May 11th and 12th.
She finished with a heat total of 16.17, ahead of Asha Reaves (Melbourne) on 12.90 points.
“I am pretty happy to say I’ve come back and got the title this year” said Conroy. “Surfing at my favourite spot with the worlds best is going to be something pretty special. It’s an amazing opportunity that I will make the most of.”
She will next compete at the Bells Beach Longboard Classic from July 18-21.
